ACROMED HEALTHCARE Technologies Limited

Welcome to the ACROMED Healthcare Technologies project gallery. Below you will find photographs from our installation projects across Uganda and East Africa, as well as images of the medical equipment we supply and support. We take pride in delivering professional installations that meet international healthcare standards, and our gallery showcases the range of equipment and services we offer to hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centres of all sizes. From advanced digital imaging systems to critical care patient monitors and fully equipped laboratory setups, each image reflects our commitment to quality and reliability in healthcare technology.

In early 2025, we completed the installation of a digital X-Ray system and two Mindray multi-parameter patient monitors at a 50-bed private hospital in Jinja. The project included mounting of a ceiling-suspended X-Ray arm with ceiling column, installation of lead-lined protective screens for radiation safety, network connection to the hospital's existing information system for image archiving, and two full days of hands-on training for the radiology and nursing teams. The hospital reported that their patient throughput in the radiology department increased by 40% within the first month of operation due to the digital workflow replacing their previous film-based system.

For a diagnostic laboratory in Gulu, we supplied and commissioned a 3-part Mindray BC-10 haematology analyser, a Locmedt LOC-200 semi-automated chemistry analyser, and a Zeiss PRIMOSTAR 3 binocular microscope with digital camera attachment. The installation was completed within five days of equipment arrival, including calibration of both analysers using manufacturer-provided controls and standards, and two half-day training sessions for the laboratory technologists. The lab began processing patient samples immediately after training and has since been running an average of 80 to 120 samples per day with no significant downtime.

Our team recently deployed surgical theatre lighting and an autoclave steriliser at a maternity centre in Kampala. The project involved replacing outdated incandescent surgical lights with modern LED surgical lighting providing shadow-free illumination at 120,000 lux, and installing a 35-litre autoclave for sterilising surgical instruments. The equipment was commissioned after testing all safety features and emergency cut-offs, and the clinical team received training on light positioning, intensity adjustment, autoclave loading procedures, and routine maintenance. The maternity centre has since reported improved surgical outcomes for Cesarean sections and emergency obstetric procedures.

Beyond these featured projects, our portfolio includes installations of patient monitoring systems at multiple Kampala hospitals, supply of ultrasound scanners to clinics in Mbale and Mbarara, deployment of oxygen concentrators to COVID-19 treatment centres during the pandemic response, and ongoing maintenance contracts with facilities across all regions of Uganda. Each project, regardless of size, follows our standard quality process and is documented with photographs for our project records. If you would like to visit a facility where we have completed a similar installation, we can arrange a reference visit with the client's permission so you can see our work first-hand and speak directly with equipment users about their experience.
